Assessment and treatment for children with behavioral developmental issues
The Hearing & Speech Institute offers developmental behavioral pediatric services on-site. This program provides evaluation/consultation for families along with on-going case management. The services can be utilized on their own, or as part of a comprehensive program including psychology, speech and language pathology, occupational therapy, audiology or early intervention for deaf and hard of hearing children.
Each child begins their involvement with our services with a thorough assessment and treatment plan. The treatment plan is tailored to meet the needs of the child and family. Goals are always set in collaboration between parents and the therapist. Services provided include:
- Comprehensive behavioral/developmental evaluation
- Stategies to support behavioral concerns
- Parenting support
- Individualized behavioral home treatment programs
- Consultation regarding medication supports
- Medical case management and coordination with other providers
