Family-centered management of hearing healthcare from infants to adolescents
Seven out of every 100 school-age children and 1 out of every 1,000 newborns are identified with hearing loss. Our Pediatric Audiology department offers comprehensive expert evaluation and mangement of varying degrees of hearing loss. We will assist children and their families as needed, from a single assessment to ongoing support and intervention. Our services include:
- Hearing evaluation for newborns through adolescents
- Monitoring for children idenified as at risk for hearing loss
- Hearing aids and assistive devices
- Cochlear implant follow-up evaluation, support and speech-language treatment
- Coordination with early intervention and school based programs
